## What to build first, sector by sector

### [Professional services](https://methodcrew.com/industries/professional-services)

For law, accounting and consulting firms, AI pays off first in document-heavy work nobody bills well: searching past matters for precedent, preparing intake and conflict checks, drafting engagement letters and chasing client documents. The Method Crew builds these on your own Microsoft 365 or document management accounts, with a named person approving anything that leaves the firm. We recommend starting with a $3,000 to $5,000 readiness snapshot.

First use cases: Precedent and clause search across past matters; Client intake and conflict-check preparation; Engagement letter drafting; Client document chasing; Statement and source document extraction; Time entry clean-up before billing.

### [Ecommerce and retail](https://methodcrew.com/industries/ecommerce-retail)

For ecommerce and retail brands, AI pays off first in support and product data. An agent answers order-status and returns questions from Shopify and your helpdesk, then hands everything else to a person. A content pipeline fixes titles, attributes and descriptions across the catalog. The Method Crew builds both on your own accounts, and refund decisions stay in fixed rules a model cannot change.

First use cases: Order-status and returns agent; Product data clean-up across the catalog; Review and ticket mining for product feedback; Stock, order and exception alerts; Product pages AI assistants can read; Campaign and launch landing pages.

### [Healthcare and clinics](https://methodcrew.com/industries/healthcare-clinics)

For medical, dental and specialty clinics, AI pays off first at the front desk: a voice agent that answers after-hours calls and books appointments, intake forms read into the practice management system and referral letters sorted for coordinators. In the US, The Method Crew only puts a vendor in the patient data path once it has signed a business associate agreement, and no model gives clinical advice.

First use cases: After-hours call answering and booking; Intake form extraction; Referral letter sorting; Recall and reminder sequences; Front-desk knowledge assistant; Review requests after visits.

### [Real estate](https://methodcrew.com/industries/real-estate)

For brokerages and property managers, AI pays off first in speed: replying to every portal and website lead within minutes, qualifying it and booking a showing on the agent's calendar. Property managers gain most from maintenance request triage and lease data extraction. The Method Crew builds these inside Follow Up Boss, HubSpot, AppFolio or Buildium, and a licensed agent reviews listing copy before it publishes.

First use cases: Instant lead response and qualification; Showing scheduling; Sign calls and after-hours calls; Listing description drafts; Maintenance request triage; Lease abstraction.

### [Insurance and financial services](https://methodcrew.com/industries/financial-services)

For insurance agencies, brokers, financial advisors and lenders, AI pays off first in document-heavy back-office work: extracting data from applications, statements and policy documents, turning meeting notes into CRM updates and running renewal reminders. The Method Crew builds these with a licensed person approving anything a client sees and a log of every AI-assisted step. Your compliance team decides whether those controls meet your obligations.

First use cases: Application and statement extraction; Renewal and annual review reminders; Meeting notes to CRM; Policy and product questions for staff; Quote comparison preparation; Loan condition tracking; Audit log of AI-assisted work.

### [SaaS and technology](https://methodcrew.com/industries/saas-technology)

For B2B SaaS companies, AI work pays off first in being found and in support. Generative engine optimization (GEO) and SEO aim to put your product on the shortlists buyers get from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. A support assistant grounded in your docs answers tickets with citations. The Method Crew also builds Next.js marketing sites and content pipelines your team runs.

First use cases: Comparison and alternatives pages; AI visibility tracking; Docs-grounded support assistant; Content production pipeline; Marketing site rebuild on Next.js; Inbound lead routing and enrichment.

## Which blueprints fit which sector

## Your sector is not on the list

Most of what we build does not depend on the sector. Lead routing, invoice processing, call follow-up and weekly reporting run the same way at a manufacturer as at a clinic. The sector changes the rules around the data, and we map those in the first week. Companies with roughly 10 to 500 staff. We do not build consumer apps, run cybersecurity audits or sell general digital marketing.
